Fed up trying to find conversion information in the back of a cookery book? Here is a conversion chart at your fingertips every time.
Measuring Conversion Chart
Conversion charts are always controversial. Some figures don’t multiply ideally, as they have to be rounded up or down. You often see one ounce measuring 25g though the measurement we have used is 28g which is more accurate. That’s why when you are baking; you need to follow a recipe carefully – the recipe tester has made sure that whatever measure they take for 1 ounce fits with the overall balance of the recipe. It’s also why you should never mix imperial and metric measurements.
