An earthy beetroot smoothie with a tang from the pomegranate molasses and cider vinegar and a sweetness from the basil. This is particularly good for your gut bacteria because of the buttermilk and probiotic yogurt. Try to find good quality honey from a single source (the Moldovan and Polish shops sell it at a good price) rather than a blended honey. If you can tolerate milk kefir use it instead of the buttermilk.
300ml probiotic live yogurt
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon pomegranate molasses
10 basil leaves
- Blend everything together and chill in the fridge. Add water to thin it out to your liking.
