A simple sauce made with mustard and creme frâiche. Serve it with fish, in sandwiches, with smoked fish or on a roast beef sandwich.
200ml creme frâiche
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon olive oil
Freshly ground salt and black pepper
1. Mix the first three ingredients together and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Mustard Sauce Recipe Note
Serve with cold vegetables, with a steak or burger and in a sandwich made with good home-baked bacon and ham. You can use wholegrain mustard if you want more texture and replace the creme fraiche with sour cream or low fat yogurt.
