Buttercream Icing for 6 cupcakes

This buttercream icing recipe will give you enough to cover 6 cupcakes. The recipe doubles or triples easily.


75g butter, softened
125g icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract


1. Whisk the ingredients together in a large bowl until smooth. Use immediately or cover and chill. Leave to soften before using.
